Our hosting service charges our association based
solely on a resource consumption basis. The more resources we use
in terms of storage, memory, band width, website hits, etc. the more
we get charged. One of the more costly expenses we have is when
a person uses the 'Show All' action. For example on the Referee Inquiry
screen, when searching for open matches, in the Action field
a person will use 'Show All'.

In an effort to reduce our resource consumption costs the system
will be changed in the following manner:

1) The ability to save a Action of 'Show all'. If you attempt
to save a search with 'Show All' you will receive an error
message stating such.
2) For those of you currently have a saved search with 'Show All',
this will be changed to 'Show 50'.
3) This will become effective on Thursday, Sept 20th.

This is what is NOT changing:
1) The ability to do a 'Show All' search in your current session.
You will still be able to do a 'Show All' type search, you just wont
be able to save the search.

Thank you for your understanding as we move forward with reducing
our resource consumption costs.

Phil McGarry
SKCSRA Webmaster.

wave New Referee Clinics:

We continue to have a shortage of Referees. The following New Referee Clinics have been scheduled for individuals to become Referees.

Saturday, 9/30/17, 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Starfire Sports Complex, Tukwila, WA 98188
Saturday, 10/7/17, 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Starfire Sports Complex, Tukwila, WA 9818
Saturday, 10/21/17, 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Starfire Sports Complex, Tukwila, WA 98188

Once you become a Referee you can officiate games anywhere in the state. At Starfire, Referees make between $35.00 to $60.00 as a Referee and $23.00 to $38.00 as an Assistant Referee. Refereeing is a great way for kids to make money or as a second job for anyone. There are games available to officiate year around. We recommend that participants be at least fourteen years old.

There are about 3 to 5 hours of online lessons that must be completed a couple of days prior to the clinic. Entry level clinics fill up quickly, so register for the clinic soon.

If you have any questions, please contact Richard Meeks at meeksr@myuw.net or 206-200-8145.
